All That
Shane Lyons
This self-described "quirky" 14-year-old excitedly embraces the oddities of All That's sketches, particularly being shot out of a cannon. "That's just something you can't do everyday," says Colorado Springs native Shane Lyons. Of his 15-pound rubber-puttied "mini me" made for one of the show’s over-the-top sketches, Lyons says, "It was really neat getting plastered up for the process, but a little freaky seeing so many dummy versions of me. After awhile, you start questioning who's the real you." There's no doubt the real Lyons is multi-talented. At age 6, Lyons discovered his love for acting when he played a cloud man in a community play. "I got to throw cotton balls at the audience. After that, I was sold," jokes Lyons. In between a guest role on ER, a film entitled Chicken Pox Pal and various other television and theatrical performances, Lyons has mastered the art of cooking. Aside from his parents, Lyons' role models include Martin Short, Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Daryl Hammond and Will Farrell and he dreams of one day being on Saturday Night Live himself. |
