Nickelodeon first began in America in 1979! Nick Asia started on July 1st, 2004.

Are there more Nickelodeon?

There are more than 158 countries around the world that Nickelodeon is in! The big orange TV channel you know and love is in countries as far away as Russia, Africa, Australia, Mongolia, Europe as well as countries closer to home like the Philippines, India, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea and Singapore!

What time does Nickelodeon in?

In India, you can watch Nick in Hindi 12 hours a day! If you are in Japan, you get to watch Nickelodeon in Japanese. In Korea, Korean subtitles appear on some of our shows. In other countries, you can watch Nickelodeon in Spanish, Mandarin, French, Dutch, Mexican, Brazilian and much more!

Why are there so many repeats?

It wouldn't be right for us to expect you to watch Nickelodeon 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! After all, what if we put a new show on, and you missed it? You'd never see it again! That wouldn't be fun for anyone. That's what repeats are for - so that you don't have to worry about missing something, because you know it'll be on again! Hence, there's no need to be glued to the TV. You can go out, have fun with your friends, do what you like! Nickelodeon will still be there when you get back. And remember that Nickelodeon is always bringing you new shows and new episodes, as well as your old favorites too. =)

When will there be new episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants? Or The Fairly OddParents? Or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

New episodes are being made all the time! Just like many TV shows, making them take ages! Did you know it takes almost a year to make one episode? So while we love to bring you a new episode every single day of the year, please be patient!

The best bet is to appear at our on-ground events in your country. Our film crew is usually there to spot lucky Nick kids, so get ready with a big smile. You never know when you'll be featured on our channel!
