Norbert is a sly guy who always seems to be in control. “Seems” is the key word here. Under his smug facade, Norb is just as insecure as Daggett, but he hides it better. The main difference between the beavers is that Norbert is a planner, while Daggett is a doer. Sometimes Norbert will trick Daggett into doing something, just so Norb can learn how not to do it.
Norbert is also relatively calm compared to Daggett. He would rather kick back and sip a hot chocolate than rush off on an adventure. When he does get off the couch, he takes a methodical approach to things.
You know the kind of person who always seems to land on their feet, even when the pressure's on and they're just sat there with their feet up? That's Norbert.
He's a whole four minutes older than Daggett - so he's got an air of wisdom and cool. Norb's a laid-back, sly rodent, totally in control. He's got enough patience to build a full-size theme park ride in their basement. And he never seems to take things too seriously--maybe that's because Norbert is naturally good at everything he does. And he can play Dag like a fiddle...
His voice is darker, rounder than Daggetts; a smooth tenor, sometimes a little seductive (like Dean Martin).
